My paintings are often somewhat whimsical. My art was originally an essential escape from the stresses of nursing (not to mention child rearing).
My works are always colourful as colour helps me to recognise form and it's exuberance quite simply makes me happy.
Rhythm and form are particularly important to me for without them I find a work to be passionless.
My works hang in Galleries, Restaurants, and private collections in New Zealand, UK, USA, Austria, Germany, Majorca, Australia, and China.
The variety of works evidences my creative process. I develop and explore a subject thematically, moving forward and continually exploring and developing new expressions of my passion for painting.
My works are overt.
Look and enjoy.
